The AK15+ offers a "best of both" pickup design, and comes with both an under saddle piezo pickup as well as a miniture soundhole mic. The piezo will work great live as it has an excellent feedback threshold (meaning you can turn it up quite loud before it'll start to feedback), whereas the soundhole mic will give the purest sound quality & is great for recording or low volume live performances. The AK15+ also comes with a small set of controls that are fitted in the soundhole & allow the user to adjust the volume/blend of the piezo & the mic. A top quality pick up for an acoustic guitar.
