For those of you who prefer a minimalist approach to controls, we offer the Anthem SL. In the SL the balance between the Tru-Mic and Element pickup is pre-set for optimum performance so you can have the same great fidelity in an end pin preamp format. The preamp, with our famous all-discrete studio quality circuitry, is also equipped with a soundhole mounted volume control.

The Element delivers performance previously unattainable from an undersaddle pickup. The streamlined and efficient design removes every unnecessary internal component to improve the coupling between the transducer and the guitar. The M1 is a humbucking pickup - with a twist. In a common stacked humbucker, the second, lower coil cancels hum, but doesn't contribute anything positive to the sound. In fact, it can muddy the sound of the main coil. We unlock the second coil. This allows it to make a positive sonic contribution while maintaining the pure open sound of a single coil - but without the hum.

The secret is the breakthrough patent-pending TriAxial Dynamic Technology™ developed by Gary Garrett and Lloyd Baggs. This new technology allows the pickup to respond to the guitar's string and body vibrations.

Our violin pickup features a miniature vibration transducer cast right into the bridge. The transducer is designed to accept the tone-rich left/right movement of the bridge, reject feedback, eliminate scratchy nasal sounds, and trace the natural sound of the instrument. The L.R. As an integral part of the bridge, it effortlessly captures the instrument's inherent dynamics.
