The Stentor Messina Violin
excellent instruments at economic prices, individually hand crafted with flamed maple back and ribs. The front is of selected narrow grain spruce. The instrument is finished in hand applied traditional shellac varnish. All instruments are fully fitted in our Reigate workshop. Supplied with professional quality Pirastro* strings.

Hofner's 'Alfred Stingl' Student models represent great value for beginners and improving music students.
Hofner's Conservatoire AS160 instruments are improved by the use of Solid Woods of a higher quality than lower models. The Spruce soundtables are of a higher grade, and the maple used for the back and sides is more attractively figured. The included bow and case are also of a higher calibre.
